This would be one of those Android tablets with an excellent 5-megapixel camera that has a capability to record videos of 720p quality. There is even a front-facing camera for video conferencing, with a 2-megapixel quality. This would also be one of the fastest Android tablets with the NVIDIA Tegra-2 processor, making the loading of apps and web pages faster. Connectivity is possible through the Wi-Fi, 3G of Verizon carrier for now, and this can be upgraded to the 4G LTE network later when Verizon allows the connections. This is going to come at the end of 1st quarter of 2011, along with the launch of Honeycomb OS, but the pricing is not yet announced.

Asus EEE Pad The Asus EEE PC has always been one of those selected, when a netbook is to be purchased.

ASUS is now trying it out with the tablet devices, and this is going with the Android operating system, the devices being named the Asus EEE Pad. It’s coming in two varieties – ASUS Eee Pad Transformer and the ASUS Eee Pad Slider. Both of them have a 10.1-inch touchscreen and would come with the Android 3.0 operating system, and powered with the dual-core NVIDIA Tegra-2 processor. Both the Android tablets have some great features like the 5-megapixel camera on the back, and 1.2MP camera on the front. The EEE Pad transformer is to release in around April 2011 with a price tag of $399-$699, and the EEE Pad Slider is going to come in May 2011 with a price tag of $500 to $800. The Transformer has a dock keyboard which also enhances the battery life, and the Slider has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

Notion Ink Adam The device was being delayed since long, but still Notion Ink had it’s pre-ordering on, during last month. And the same device was displayed in the CES this month. It comes with the Android 2.2 Froyo operating system, but one of the interesting things to look out for, is the Eden interface. The device has quite few great features to look for, which include the NVIDIA Tegra 2 chipset, with the 1GHz dual-core processor. It has a cylindrical end base which ports the batteries, speakers and a 185-degree rotation swivel camera. This android tablet is going to come with a 10.1-inch screen, and it has many different connectivity options, even the 3G compatibility. It is coming in the second quarter of 2011, with a price tag range from $399 to $549 for different versions.

Cius Android Tablet by Cisco The Cius android tablet would be launching in March, 2011 by the Cisco systems and the images of the prototype shows how sleek it looks, with the beautiful display and the bottom speaker panel. It would have a 7-inch screen, and a 1.6GHz Atom processor along with the Android 2.2 Froyo operating system. It should weigh around 1.5 pounds and the connectivity is through the Wi-Fi and 3G. It would come with software that wipes data if the tablet is stolen. The price tag expected is around $1000, pretty high when compared to the other Android tablets!

Lenevo Lepad There is nothing much talked and revealed about the Android tablets from Lenovo, named as the Lepad. But still, one of the best competitors in the laptop market launching something in the tablet range, is something is look out for. The device was to be launched in the 4th quarter of 2010, but then delayed to March, 2011 and that is when it should be probably coming with the Android 3.0 operating system.
